Our beginnings can be traced back to our founder, Carl Heinrich Hellmann, who back in 1871 formed Hellmann Logistics in the small town of Osnabruck, Germany. The company started as a one man business delivering parcels through the use of a horse drawn cart.

Thanks to the dream and vision of Hellmann, a new organization was born with the commitment and vision to support its customer’s needs from beginning to end.

Since 1871, Hellmann has evolved into Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. An organization that is global in its business presence and specialized within every major sector of the logistics industry. With 15,000 strong and passionate employees, Hellmann carries with it through present day, the commitment of over 4 generations of the Hellmann family. This serves as a continuation of the tradition of excellence started off by the late Carl Hellmann.
