The emergence of sustainable development, which is currently widely talked about as an opportunity for social renewal, will enable us to rise to the global challenges of the coming millennium by means of social, ecological and economic development on which there is social consensus. At Hellmann Worldwide Logistics we have taken up this task. Within the structures of our quality and environment management system, we will be placing particular emphasis in our company on the social dimension. As a globally active company, we see ecological damage not only as a regionally isolated phenomenon, but we are also globally active in conservation issues. This is one more reason why we will continue to strive towards introducing the principles of sustainable development in all our branches, and align our activities with these principles wherever we are.
