In 1988, Hellmann International Forwarders was incorporated in the United States, under the laws of the State of Delaware. The U.S. organization is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics GmbH & Co. KG of Osnabrück, Germany. All of Hellmanns U.S. offices officially adopted the corporate name "Hellmann Worldwide Logistics" in June 1999.

The Hellmann organization on a global level has been profitable every year since its inception. In the past years, annual worldwide revenues have increased to over $3.6 billion, and Hellmann is considered among the worlds top logistics providers.

Since Hellmann is a 100% family-owned, private company, corporate financial data is kept confidential. However, bank references both in the United States and abroad are provided upon request.
