These same major carriers generally utilize the most sophisticated equipment available in the industry, both in the air and on the ground, which assures the best possible handling of your products. Furthermore, they have the prime departure and arrival times at the busiest airports, guaranteeing us with the optimum schedules.

HPL policy is to enter into Blocked Space Agreements (BSA) during periods of heavy customer demand or on traditionally heavy lane segments. This ensures the consistent flow of product when it matters most, namely on multiple lane segments. BSAs guarantee capacity for flights and dates specifically agreed upon. This space is in addition to any other agreements already in place.
Allocations are offered to our customers through a sophisticated worldwide booking system, allowing customers all around the world access to our global airline capacity, simply by contacting the local HPL office.

Our global capacity program allows us to work with carriers on a global basis, thereby providing you the ability to reach your customers anywhere in the world with the same consistency and quality provided by the HPL product. HPL also works with customers by programming the seasonal requirements they may have. Anticipating trends throughout the entire term of the harvest, we can tailor a program utilizing all modes of transpor-tation (airfreight, oceanfreight and trucking) to maximize the return to the shipper.
Our global capability allows us to respond instantly to changes which occur in the market, allowing you to reach different markets simultaneously, and maximize your opportunity. A shipment in HPL care can either be distributed locally or on-forwarded by air or truck on a moment’s notice to another market around the world.

In order to circumvent bottlenecks in airline capacity HPL will, if feasible, also run its own charters and part-charters. This program compliments HPL’s major carrier capacity programs, allowing HPL to serve its customers with additional aircraft capabilities tailored to customer specifications, such as weight, space, timing and origin/destination. This service gives customers the most value for their money as it is the most individualized and dedicated service available.

Working with you on a seasonal commitment allows you and HPL to realize maximum economies of scale, in turn allowing for the introduction of seasonal program discounts.

Build-up of your product ensures that it receives the specialized handling and care that it requires. It stays in optimum refrigeration until tendered to the carrier and is handled by a dedicated staff trained in product care. The Recovery Program provides the fastest retrieval of your product possible.
The entire pallet is recovered from plane-side or through the carrier warehouse in a designed pass-through system, allowing your product to be placed again at optimum temperature in our facility.
