As from January 1 2012 Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has newly adjusted the product airfreight.

Benne Nelles (42) has taken on the newly created position of Global Product Manager Airfreight to promote this important product range. Nelles, who can look back on 18 years of business experience, was a product manager for Germany at Hellmann since 2007. Through the expansion of his sphere, he will enforce the development of this product for our company worldwide and enlarge Hellmann’s international market position.

He will be supported by Marc Meyer (42), who will fill this function on a regional level for Europe. Meyer, who has already been in the industry for 22 years, came as Regional Sales Manager to Hellmann in 2009 and has comprehensive knowledge of the company structure in Europe. Therefore, he can further the product development within the countries with a special focus on pricing and route development.

In the course of this new structuring Günther Weichwald (55) has succeed Benno Nelles in the German country organization. With 39 years of business experience Weichwald is also an expert in the airfreight industry. After four years as branch manager at Hellmann in Frankfurt, he will now concentrate fully on the development of German airfreight, including the gateway Frankfurt.
