Environmental consciousness is a vital part of Hellmann USA. We are committed to reducing our consumption of materials and to make the environments in which we work a cleaner and safer place.

We have been actively working to achieve our ISO14001 certification for our Miami station and USA Corporate Headquarters, and have passed all requirements for this very important certification - also known as the "Worlds Environmental Management Standard" (ISO).

Our environmental concerns include primarily the following:

· Paper

· Reduction in use of toner Cartridges

· Recycling all possible items

· Recycling all toner cartridges

· Control of all hazardous materials within our warehouse

To help with one of our primary concerns - excess paper use - all export shipments are now being handled in a paperless environment. When the shipments have left the US, the few remaining documents are shredded, thus requiring no printing of documents to retain in the file and requiring no storage space in our warehouses.
